About Judy Evans
Designing jewelry has been my passion since 2003 – I loved creating one of a kind jewelry. However, good things end and better things start! In January 2010 I made the difficult decision to discontinue the jewelry side of my business and put that time and energy into stained glass and mosaic light switch covers.
History of my mosaic adventure:
In July 2009 I took a mosaic class with my daughter. April & I made trivets, something simple that allowed us to learn technique. We learned how to cut glass & ceramic tiles, prime, use mastic, grout and finish off mosaic projects. We loved the experience and both came away hooked on mosaics.
April had taken a class on mosaic switch plates and I was really impressed with them. She showed me how, and as they say "The rest is history!" I'd never seen anything like them and knew immediately that this was going to be my new adventure.
My most valuable asset:
I consider my family my most valuable asset. My husband of 41+ years is a wonderful guy. He makes me laugh, feel secure and loved. Our 2 children are married. Our first grand daughter was born in July 2011 and our second grand daughter in December 2011. How blessed are we with 2 grand babies in the same year! We do have 2 other kids - Bailey our golden retriever, and Cody our big hairy dog (breed unknown!).
